Home Sweet Closet
So the good news is that I'm all moved into the Residencia…it didn't take me very long at all. All I really need for the room are a few posters to brighten up the walls, and it'll be just like a dorm room.
The bad news is that my room is about thisbig, so I have lots of new bruises from figuring out where corners and walls are. Also, my door scrapes along the floor (Consider this equivalent to the sound of an elephant flatulating. Now imagine that sound in a marble hallway and amplify it by a covered patio. There you go.) and the covering on my window is broken, i.e. won't close. My privacy is still intact began the window is heavily frosted, but the light from the hallway kept me up most of last night.
All in all, it's a good thing I have said room to myself, or my roomie would be ready to kill me right about now.
I'm going to do a little bit of grocery shopping later, because after the two meals I had yesterday I'm a little nervous about the food. Basically, it's a lot of meat, bread, and starches; very few veggies, fruits, or anything not heavily prepared. So I'm gonna buy some fruit and cereal bars, and water bottles and such to keep me going in between the meals I can eat. I also have to purchase laundry detergent. The laundry experience should be fun…I've never actually had to hang clothes out to dry. Other people have done it for me, but this will be a first. I'll take some pictues.
Speaking of pictures, welcome to the interior of my room:
I'll take more pictures today…the suitcases are under the bed now, and things have been spruced up a bit. Later!
