Turkey time is here again…

November 22, 2006

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. The first in my life that I haven't been home to celebrate with my family. I have no idea what Georgie's doing, but my parents and the Grandmas are going out for lunch, and I am going to be dining at the Hard Rock Cafe Barcelona. Yes. I am spending Thanksgiving in Barcelona, something I never dreamed of, much less thought I would be able to say. Crazy world. So…what am I thankful for?

Let's see…I'm thankful that I am fully mobile, first and foremost. Losing the ability to walk for two months last summer drove that one home loud and clear…

I'm thankful for International Communication that is (much) faster than a speeding steamboat, go technology…

I'm thankful that I have friends back home that I love like crazy even though I haven't seen them in 3 months (and I'm thankful that they love me back!). I don't know how I got so lucky to have such friends, honestly…

My parents are definitely on the give thanks for/to list, because without them I wouldn't be giving thanks at all! Add my Nanna, Gram, Georgie, and Helen to that list, as well as all the cousins and babies…

I'm really thankful that the Universe conspired to find a way to get me to Spain this year, and I'm grateful that my Spanish is actually improving…

The list goes on, but these are the highlights…of the list, and of my life. What are you thankful for?

    Amanda!
I hope you have a wonderful T-day…I'm sure it'll be a bit strange for you being away from home and all. We'll be thinking of you. We're all doing well, the babes are growing fast! Pia's sitting up and wanting to crawl, and Coleman has just turned into a little boy, seems like overnight.
Anywho, just wanted to say hello, hope you're doing well, and wish you a happy t-day.
    E-mail me sometime at brewstahbear@yahoo.com
    Love ya!!
